Honor recently launched the Honor 80 series smartphones in China, such as the Honor 80 SE, Honor 80, and Honor 80 Pro. It seems that the company is planning to launch a new Honor 80 series phone called Honor 80 GT. The device is expected to launch in December 2022.

Honor 80 GT
The Honor 80 GT will come with a flat display. All the Honor 80, 80 SE, and 80 Pro are equipped with OLED panels with curved edges.
The gaming-focused Honor 80 GT will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform. Other than revealing that the Honor 80 GT will launch in December, there is no word on its other specifications.
It is likely that the 80 GT could sport a unique rear design similar to the Snapdragon 888-powered Honor X40 GT. More information on the specs of the 80 GT will likely be available in upcoming reports.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip is also found in the Honor 80 Pro, which was released recently. It has a 6.78-inch OLED display with a bullet-shaped camera cutout. The curved-edge screen offers a resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels and comes pre-loaded with Magic UI 7-based Android 12. The handset comes with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.
The 80 Pro has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual selfie camera setup. On its back, it has a 160-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device has a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging. For security, the 80 Pro is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
